Take Action on RFK
DC is considering a proposal to redevelop the RFK Stadium grounds into a new NFL facility for the Washington Commanders. Unfortunately, the current proposal does not serve the surrounding communities. Take action to ensure your ideal RFK Future becomes a reality.
In person, online, or submit testimony early
The DC Council has scheduled a hearing for July 29th for the public to testify on the redevelopment of RFK Stadium.

Whether or not you support a stadium
Ward 7 wants to ensure our community is put first if we bring a stadium to DC. The best way to protect our neighborhoods is through a strong Community Benefits Agreement (CBA) that will bring investments and resources directly into our community, while respecting the rich history and culture of our neighborhood.

Hold DC Council accountable to include what the community wants
Ahead of the 7/25 hearing, let the Council know you want a strong Community Benefits Agreement (CBA). Sign the petition in seconds.
Support transit infrastructure over cars
The current proposal calls for two giant parking garages — housing thousands of vehicles — directly across from Kingman Park homes, threatening the health and safety of our community and impeding access to the riverfront.
There is a better way! Most neighbors we’ve spoken with propose adding a new metro infill station along Benning and Oklahoma Ave NE, reducing parking overall, and relocating what's left to unoccupied portions of the RFK site and surrounding areas.
